Task Till Dawn

Task Till Dawn can run programs automatically, according to a schedule of your choice. The software is an excellent solution for repetitive tasks. It places various configuration options at your disposal, so you can decide when a program should be launched, in what conditions, how to handle errors and so on. What's more, Task Till Dawn's controls are easy to master, so you don't need any advanced knowledge or skills to automate your tasks.

The software is free, but donations are accepted if you wish to support further developments. Its core components are distributed in a ZIP archive, so you can simply unpack them and run the executable, instead of going through an installation process. The hardware requirements are modest and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools or services.

Creating and scheduling tasks is a straightforward operation. All you have to do is target a program's executable, through a standard Open dialog, and choose a series of parameters, just by clicking a series of check boxes. You can choose a program, set up a schedule, decide what should be done if an error occurs and make few other fine tweaks on a tabbed configurations window, where you can also name your task and type in a short description.

Programs an be executed at a specific hour, repeatedly, every few seconds, minutes, hours or days, on certain days, at certain hours or on specific days of the month. Additionally, you can set Task Till Dawn to run your new task only if another task of your choice is running. Furthermore, the software can execute other tasks, which you can select, if an error occurs or after a successful execution.

Created tasks are listed on the main user interface, along with various statistics. You can just leave Task Till Dawn work in the background and let it execute your tasks automatically. Alternatively, if your schedule changes, you can execute individual tasks manually, by selecting them and clicking a button, on the main interface. Of course, you can also find controls for stopping the an execution, editing tasks, removing or duplicating them.
